Liebherr

Liebherr was founded in 1949 in Kirchdorf an der Iller, Germany, when Hans Liebherr built a mobile tower crane that could be assembled on site. The family-owned company has grown into one of the world's largest makers of construction machinery, with wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, cranes and mining equipment, along with businesses in aerospace, rail and refrigeration. Liebherr equipment is known for heavy-duty engineering and for building many of its own major components in-house.
