A work UTV, first and foremost
The Yanmar Bull was built around a jobsite rather than a trail. The clearest sign is the cargo bed: it's sized to take a standard pallet, with a steel floor, which is a specification that only matters if you actually load the thing with a forklift.
Power is a 686cc liquid-cooled four-stroke SOHC gas engine making 47 horsepower, driving Yanmar's Tru-Torq CVT. The CVT uses a centrifugal clutch, which is what makes the take-off smooth when you're starting a heavy load on a slope instead of lurching into it.
What it carries and pulls
The bed holds 600 lb, total payload is 906 lb, and it tows 1,500 lb at the rear. Ground clearance is 11.8 inches, the most of the two gas models.
Drive is switchable between 2WD and 4WD with a front differential lock, so you can stay in two-wheel drive on hard surfaces and lock things up only when the ground gets loose.
Standard equipment
The Bull ships with a hard-top roof, a full-frame welded steel skid plate, a ROPS structure, and electronic power steering. The bed tilts manually, carries a 2-inch rear receiver hitch, and has 12 threaded accessory mounting points on the rails plus four tie-down hooks.
An optional Jobsite Package adds a horn, an amber safety strobe, a reverse alarm, a folding windshield, and an adjustable 25 MPH speed limiter. On a farm with seasonal help or a jobsite crew, that package is worth more than it sounds.
