The trade is straightforward. Six feet of deck covers open ground fast and struggles to fit through a standard gate or between close-planted trees. If your property is mostly open with a clear run at it, this is the more sensible machine. If it's broken up by obstacles, the YZ360 will finish sooner in practice regardless of what the acres-per-hour table says.
The deck
7-gauge fabricated steel, the same construction Yanmar uses on every zero-turn it builds. On a 72-inch deck that thickness matters more, because a wider shell has more unsupported span to hold true across years of impacts.
Built for long days
A 3-inch suspension seat and 12.5 gallons of fuel are what separate an all-day machine from a two-hour one. Rear tires are 24 x 12-12 with 15 x 6.0-6.0 front casters, and the whole machine weighs 1,480 lb, which keeps it planted at speed.

Like the rest of the 300 Series, the YZ372 carries 5 years or 1,250 hours with no hour limit for the first two years.
