This is a machine for acreage, not for yards. If you're mowing five acres or more of reasonably open ground on a schedule, it turns a full day into half of one.
Where the speed goes
Ten and a half acres an hour only happens if the machine can hold speed through real grass, and that's what the FX1000V is for. It's the same engine as the 60-inch YZ460, so nothing is being asked to stretch. The extra 12 inches of deck is the whole difference between the two, worth 1.8 acres an hour on open ground and nothing at all on tight ground.
