A 52-inch deck gets between trees and along flower beds where a wider machine has to make a second pass, and a true zero-turn radius means you come out of each turn without leaving an uncut crescent behind you.

The deck
The cutting deck is 7-gauge fabricated steel, the same thickness used across the entire Yanmar zero-turn range including the 35-horsepower machines. Fabricated decks hold their shape through years of impacts that would dish a stamped deck, and deck shape is what keeps the cut even as blades wear.
