A compact tractor you can work in year round
The YT235C is built around one idea: a factory cab with heat and air conditioning, designed by Yanmar rather than bolted on afterward. That changes what the machine is for. Snow in February and dust in August stop being reasons to put the job off, and a sealed cab is quieter than a set of ear muffs over an open platform.
Power is a 34.2-horsepower 3TNV88C three-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel, naturally aspirated, delivering 27 HP at the PTO. The hydrostatic transmission uses dual touch pedals across three ranges.
Controls that reduce the workload
Third-function valve control is integrated into the joystick, so running a grapple doesn't mean taking a hand off the loader. The PTO is one-touch electro-hydraulic and independent, engaging without a separate lever routine, and the three-point hitch has true position control so implements return to the same depth every pass.
Dual hydraulic pumps mean steering never robs the implement circuit: 7.1 GPM to implements and 4.1 GPM to steering, both at 2,800 RPM.
The loader
The YL310 lifts 1,300 lb at the pivot pin to a maximum height of 84 inches, with 2,105 lb of breakout force at the pins. The 60-inch bucket holds 8.48 cubic feet and uses a skid-steer style quick attach, so attachments from the wider skid-steer world will mount. A grille guard is standard.
Mower and backhoe options
A 60-inch drive-over mid-mount mower is available, with a fabricated 10-gauge shell, side discharge, ground-following mounting, and cutting heights from 1 to 4 inches. Drive-over means you don't crawl under the tractor to mount it.
The B75 backhoe digs 90 inches deep on a 2-foot flat bottom, swings through 180 degrees, and offers buckets from 9 to 24 inches.
